Shah Satnam Ji Blood Donation Camp : A Guinness World Record

“Blood donation during one’s lifetime and organ donation after death”

This dream is now being realized by the devotees of Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. Shah Satnam ji Blood donation drive on the 7th December, 2003 showed that Guruji’s inspiration and leadership has no parallels. In merely 10 hours, 15432 units of blood were collected by 56 participating blood banks spanning from Jammu to Uttaranchal, and from Delhi to Gujarat. In the process, a new Guinness World Record was established. Thousands of devotees had to return home disappointed as the blood banks could take no more. Hazoor Pita Ji showed his concern for the guardian of the national frontiers by inaugurating the camp with the Armed Forces Transfusion Centre contingent. The members of the holy family, led from the front in donating blood as well as distributing the refreshments. The participating blood banks were too surprised for words after seeing the enthusiasm among the donors.

Rewriting our Guinness Book World Record Serendipitously

Under the helmsmanship of Hazoor Pita Ji, The Guinness world record was established with Shah Satnam ji blood donation drive on 7th December, 2003, with 15432 units given away to 56 participating blood banks. The unfortunate demise of reverend Bapu Maghar Singh Ji, Guru Ji’s father, motivated the devotees and disciples to rewrite that record on 10th October, 2004. Despite the fact that the camp was held in Sri Gurusarmodia, a tiny rural hamlet, the enthusiasm of the donors was endless. Thousands of prospective donors had to be turned away since the participating blood banks could take no more. The event has blood banks coming from Jammu in the North to Hyderabad in the south. The most phenomenal thing was the enthusiastic shown by the grand children of Bapu Maghar Singh. The holy royals were auspicious by their enthusiastic, and overwhelming participation.
