Quality Care initiative in Mega Eye Camps for Cataract
In the pious and everlasting memory of the worldly voyage of Param Pita Shah Satnam ji, A Free Mega Eye Camp is organised on December 13-14-15 annually. In a gesture of magnanimity the present spiritual Master, embarked on an endeavour of social service. Presently, senior surgeons of national and international repute extend their services during the camp. Guru ji supervises this effort to the minutest detail. Not only is every patient individually bestowed with Guruji’s blessings; all facilities are provided free of cost. ‘Small incision cataract surgery’, Phacos emulsification and whole gamut of services are provided. Mega Eye Camps with such enormous facilities are very rare at the national or international level. (Lakhs of patients have been medically examined and over Fourteen Thousand eye operations have been successfully performed since 1992.)
In this camp thousands of patients from the states of Haryana, Punjab, U.P., Rajasthan, H.P. & Delhi avail the facilities of free medical checkup of eyes & operations. The interest and necessity for these eye camps has been ever increasing from the year of its commencement. During this December 2009 camp itself 1615 free eye operations were successfully carried out after the eye checkup of more than 8,000 patients. His Holiness Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji showers His blessings which is a source of perpetual insipiration for the Doctors, Paramedical Staff & selfless volunteers engaged in the service.
